Key Finance is a trading style of Key Finance Limited which are Commercial Finance Brokers based in London & Surrey, UK.

Key Finance Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 831557), and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (No. Z6377998).

What data do we collect?

Key Finance collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, home address, date of birth, ID documents etc.)
  • Personal financial information.
  • Company Data (Financial information, bank details, director and shareholder information etc. relevant to finance applications sent to Key Finance)

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Key Finance with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or other communication methods for our services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or information request, provide feedback on any of our message boards, services or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Complete an application for finance.
  • During remote or face to face meetings.

Key Finance may also receive your data indirectly from third parties, such as introducers, marketing partners, or financial institutions.

In the course of your interactions with Key Finance you may share information that is classified as ‘Special Category Data’. This could include data about:

How do we store your data?

Key Finance stores all customer and business data securely using cloud-based services provided by trusted platforms. Access is restricted to authorised users, and appropriate security measures are in place to help prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for - whether to support our services, meet legal or regulatory requirements, or maintain appropriate business records. Once the retention period ends, data is either securely deleted, anonymised, or archived in line with our internal data retention procedures. These processes may include manual deletion, scheduled reviews, and secure removal from cloud-based systems.

Marketing

Key Finance understands that with the introduction of the Consumer Duty, it is likely the level of communications issued by our business may increase. This is to help ensure customers clearly understand the products and services offered and to provide support to customer throughout the lifecycle of the relationship.

Where relevant, we may share your information with selected partners in connection with your enquiry or an appropriate offering. We will only share your data with such partners where you have provided consent, or where the data sharing is necessary to fulfil your request. In some cases, they may contact you directly.

Key Finance would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies. We will only send marketing messages if you’ve given us permission, or where we have a legitimate business reason to do so.

Cookies

Key Finance does not currently use any cookies that require user consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulation (PECR), and we do not use any essential cookies on our website.
